MISSION: Nurture and promote the cultural spirit of Africa in the Diaspora.

PEACE, PEACE FAMILY,

PEACE, PEACE FAMILY,

As Co-Founder, CEO and Curator of JAH KENTE INTERNATIONAL, INC registered in the District of Columbia as a non-profit 501 (c) 3 with membership in both the INSTITUTE OF BLACK CHARITIES and the COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN (CFC code 43710 – since 2008), I personally extend to you the attached invites to our 21st  Anniversary FUND RAISER – FUN   FOOD  FASHION and two presentation readings of “Redemption Ritual: Inviting The Ancestors To Be Present.” Twenty-one years ago after being the first Morehouse College graduate to join and serve in the Peace Corps where I taught Mathematics in Freetown, Sierra Leone (West Africa), served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as an MP, and in the U.S. State Department as a diplomat in the Republic of Madagascar (East Africa), as a Political/Consular Officer, the Republic of Mali (West Africa) as a Political Officer and in England as a Consular Officer responsible for Americans in the penial system in England, Wales and Scotland, I harnessed my historical African diaspora international exposure and became an African World Cultural Evangelist.

In the spirit of SANKOFA – reach back and fetch it – my mission has been and is to use JAH KENTE INTERNATIONAL, INC. to nurture and promote the cultural spirit of Africa in the Diaspora. Nurture the African spirit until it reach back  and fetch that ancient spirituality that governed the lives of our ancestors during  Africa’s Golden Ages when we built the Great Pyramids of Giza and wrote the “Book of Dead” or “Book of Coming Forth by Day.” COME AND SHARE THIS ANNIVERSARY WITH US.
